TYPO Berlin takes place at House of World Cultures,which is located right next to the Federal Chancellor’s Office. The conference building is a classic example of modern architecture in Berlin and is nicknamed “Schwangere Auster” (“pregnant oyster”) by native Berliners. The international contemporary arts are at home here and it is a forum for debate and discourse on current issues.
