Stop Motion Typography Workshop

TYPO Berlin 2015 Character | Saturday, 23 May | 1:00 pm | Foyer | English

Stop motion typography is a workshop combining typography with stop motion animation to produce experimental and conceptual type animations. The workshop is aimed at students and designers, who will experience very important steps in the creative process by focusing on brainstorming, collaboration, assessing resources, visualisation and producing results.

The workshop consists of revaluating everyday objects by building a bridge between three dimensional forms, typography and meaning. Participants should bring at least 10 small everyday objects, a smart phone or camera and a tripod.

Baris Atiker has completed several workshops in Poland and Turkey. Sample projects can be seen at www.facebook.com/groups/stopmotiontypography.
