Since its beginning in Berlin, students and their instructors have always been an important part of the TYPO audience. As we’ve grown TYPO San Francisco, we’ve heard from many faculty that they’d love to attend, but only have a limited budget from their institution. We recognize its critical that those teaching the next generation of designers continue to be inspired by their peers, network with professionals, and interact with their students outside of their classroom. That’s why this year we’re pleased to offer a limited amount of tickets for academic faculty.

Despite its name, the overall focus of TYPO is on design as a whole, not just typography. That said, we’re pleased to add a Type Track this year in the intimate, 100-seat screening room.
