RoboFont: the missing UFO editor

TYPO Berlin 2012, 17.05.2012, 19:00 Uhr (TYPO Stage)

RoboFont is an interactive drawing board for fonts and glyphs. Entirely written in Python, and based on Defcon and Robofab (by Tal Leming and Erik van Blokland) the editor allows full scripting access to objects and interface. The application is made for dynamic interaction with existing UFO applications. The application is a project by Frederik Berlaen with support of Petr van Blokland and David Berlow.

RoboHint is a RoboFont-tool for TrueType hinting. The tool puts the hinting phase where it belongs: inside the design process of a typeface. RoboHint is a project by Petr van Blokland. RoboFont and RoboHint will be presented by Frederik Berlean and Petr van Blokland at TYPO Berlin 2012.
