Alessio Leonardi
Alessio Leonardi was born in 1965 in Florence. He has been living and working as a designer and font designer in Berlin since 1990. In 2005 together with Imme Leonardi he founded Lion&Bee, a design studio with few staff, but lots of room for ideas and for their three daughters to play in. Since 2001 he has been the Italian delegate for ATypI. His fonts are sold through FontShop, Linotype and, since 2002, through his own label BuyMyFonts.com. He likes to speak at design and typography conferences, writes articles and books. He is a professor for visual communication at the HAWK in Hildesheim.
